I offer (blue card accredited) Aboriginal Art workshops to schools, day-care centres, corporate services, government organisations, and to the general public for special events.

Private lessons or consultations are also available upon request.

 

 

 

I accept flexible payment options but bookings are essential and payments must be finalised by the date of booked workshops. 

Price is calculated on an hourly basis

 

Discount for full day workshops (8 hours at a rate of 6 hours)

 

Age 2 - 6: 45 mins (minimum) to 1 hour

Age 6 - 12: 1 hour (minimum) to 2 hours

Ages 12+: 1 hour (minimum) to four hours

OR

All ages: half or full day group workshops

 

 

Workshops include:

 

  • An introduction about Aboriginal Art from the Dreamtime through to contemporary Aboriginal (urban) Art and what mediums, materials. and methods were and are now used.  

 

 

  • (Depending on age group) An interactive 'write your own story' activity (includes a worksheet to fill in and keep) that educates participants about Aboriginal symbols, how they were used and why they are important to Aboriginal Art and Culture

 

  • (Depending on time limits) Participants are given a wooden boomerang and/or a colouring in activity sheet to create their own piece of artwork during the workshop and then take home. 

 

  • An information pack on Aboriginal culture and symbols

 

  • All supplies are included

 

 

 

* DISCLAIMER: Painting smocks are provided but it is recommended that participants (particularly young children) wear clothes that can be paint stained as  the non-toxic paint required (to adhere to wood) states that it washes out of clothing but it may not come out if not washed immediately.
